From TECH.BLORGE.com according to a Harris poll, most people know about Vista but few intend to upgrade to the new operating system.
The survey of 2223 US online adults in early March found that 87% were aware of Vista. Unfortunately for Microsoft, only 12% of Vista-aware respondents were intending to upgrade to Vista in the next 12 months.
I think this shows that people are getting smarter, since they know to wait until the first service pack or so before moving to the new OS. I for one, haven’t upgraded and don’t intend to this year, even. According to the Windows Vista upgrade advisor, I need to upgrade my RAM, video card and hard drive. I don’t intend on doing that this year, so I will not be an early adopter.
