The Capital Area IT Council is partnering with “Linking Lansing and U” to present “Tech Tours”-a unique “live, work, play” experience promoting our area’s vast career and community offerings to the next generation of IT professionals.
The April 18 “Tech Tour” will feature tours of Liquid Web, Auto-Owners Insurance, and Michigan Department of Information Technology-as well as tours of the new Stadium District and get this-a socializing/networking event in the suites at Oldsmobile Park during the Lansing Lugnuts game!
This is our last such event for this year and can’t think of a better way to wrap up our “Tech Tour” program. In addition to tours of some of the biggest IT players and coolest housing in town–the generosity of our partners at the City of Lansing, Lansing Lugnuts ownership, and Liquid Web will provide our group with access to 2 executive suites at Oldsmobile Park-including food/soft drinks and tickets to the game that night. The game will last until approximately 9pm and we will provide passes for the entertainment trolley so you will have transportation back to campus starting at 7:30 p.m. We are already nearing capacity for this event so please make sure to let me know if you are interested in attending-as always, reservations will be handled on a first come, first serve basis.
